I have had pool service from Krisdan Klear since March 2015 to January 2016 and I must say his pool service is top notch. Before I had Kris, my pool was in bad shape. The levels were way off and beyond fixing. He recommended a drain and chlorine wash and a refill. I agreed to do what he had recommended. After doing the drain and chlorine wash, my pool has been looking the best it ever has(see attached pictures). My pool is always blue and I never have to worry about my pool in the summer time. Just follow what he tells you to do when he isn't there and your pool will be good. Yes that means homeowners you should help empty your baskets and skim the pool if you have a lot of leaves getting in your pool. It was such a pleasure to have his service. Due to me getting laid off, I had to cancel service with him (sad face) but as soon as I get a job, I plan on getting him back asap. Seriously, give him your business and you'll be happy. He also did a very nice thing for me for being laid off and Kris I thank you so much, we'll be in touch! Thank you man!

To start, Kris's Pool Service Rocks!!
So I'll be honest, I don't write reviews on yelp, but I do use it a ton. Love the app, always checking things out beforehand. Because Krisdan Klear has been so awesome, I thought they deserved the recognition.
My wife and I are first time homeowners of a lovely 1970's house that has a big ol' 30,000-ish gallon pool. It's worth noting that not only was everything about the house a touch antiquated, but when we moved in, we had a jungle for a backyard. Additionally, we have a golden retriever that loves doing laps everyday so on top of foliage attacking the pool, we have gobs of puppy hair mucking up the filters.
That being said, Kris and his crew worked diligently to keep it pristine for us. It's very obvious they take pride in their work and that they care about their customers. Because we were working with old equipment and tons of landscaping, Kris and I had to stay in touch. Unfortunately, I work nights and my wife works days so you think that would have been difficult. Well, it wasn't in the slightest. Kris was not only available by email, but by text as well. I have to say that that was probably the most refreshing concept, a business owner being so personal. It's also worth mentioning that I love to ask questions ("how does this D.E. filter work?" "what's a D.E. filter" "what's the science behind the chemicals?" lol). Kris would answer all these with a smile and always took the time. Again, it's obvious he cares about his work and his customers.
A giant thanks to Kris and his team for their awesome work. I would wholeheartedly recommend his services to anyone with a pool!

We had an emergency situation where our tank had cracked and all the pool water was emptying out onto our back lawn. In a panic, I got online to look for a pool service repair company in our area with the best reviews and gave them a call. Kris was OUTSTANDING in responding to our needs and we had a new tank installed by the very next day. Not only that, he unclogged the skimmer and added pool chemicals to the water that had already started to turn green, at no extra charge! My husband is somewhat of an information sponge and Kris took the extra time to explain everything to him without rushing. We HIGHLY recommend Kris for your pool service needs and we will definitely be using him again in the future.

We had moved into a new house with a huge yard as well as a 23000 gallon pool (huge) and quickly developed a green pool. Had Kris come out and evaluate the pool and unfortunately had to drain it but he prevented us from putting hundreds of dollars more in chemical just to drain later. Long story short, later this year it went green again and it would not be turned back, needed to be drained again. We were on the way out from out lease and Kris gave us great insight to why it was going green so fast. Theres lots to be said about the service you will get from them, but you will also get a true honest view on your pool that is not interested in generating money for their business but what is best for your pool and your family! when another pool emergency or issue comes up im not going to hesitate calling them because i got squeezed in during the middle of the day in the middle of the summer during 105 degree weather!

There is no better pool service in Bakersfield. Kris has kept my pool top notch. I never knew a pool could look so clear! Reasonably priced for his service. He is not one of those guys who is in your backyard for 2 seconds, and then bolts out. Always able to be reached if there is an issue (which I have not yet had). I have a 7 year old son who lives in the pool! He has never once complained about any eye irritation or itchy skin or anything!

This pool cleaning service is fantastic. After much frustration with another pool cleaning service, Krisdan Klear turned my pool into something only seen at a 5 star hotel. My pool was murky and needed help. I found Kris (the owner of the company) to be very knowledgeable, professional, generous and easy going. He explained the process needed to clean my pool in a patient and friendlly manner. After the process was completed I couldn't believe it was the same pool. The prices are affordable and worth it for the peace of mind and satisfaction. No regrets at all in hiring Krisdan Klear. Only regret is that I didn't find them sooner.
